Position Summary:

Under the general guidance of the Senior Director, Long-term Supply and Capacity Planning, accountable for development and efficient execution of the following as assigned.

This role will have a worldwide scope with a focus on major markets, key brands and early assets.

Key Responsibilities:

BIOLOGICS INTEGRATED PLANNNG PROCESS SUPPORTED:

Develop a feasible Biologics end-to-end Network Plan for all manufacturing sites, both internal sites and CMOs, with a focus on long term strategic capacity planning (3-10 years).Appropriate, but robust integration with other global planning processes, particularly long range forecasts, Business & Strategy Operations, Finance and Management Business Review forumsCreate and maintain BMS capability to provide comprehensive information, analytics and visibility around end-to-end Network Supply status to all cross functional stakeholders.Strategic supply planning including long range capacity planning for capex and sourcing decisions based on commercial LTFP and pipeline scenarios.

EXECUTION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop and provide Long Range Capacity planning baseline and what-if scenarios that support fact-based decision processes for the Biologic network, internal and external.Provide analytics that balance capacity utilizations and address supply continuity requirement at each node.Communicate risks, opportunities, and network recommendations to the respective forums for decision making.Communicate decisions and impacts to all stakeholders, including timely escalation and prioritization of supply responsesIdentify continuous improvement opportunities for both planning tools and process.Accountable for developing what-if supply scenarios and develop recommendations in response to actual or anticipated changes in demand or supply.Accountable for developing what-if supply scenarios to continuously improve performance relating to both service levels and total costs thru continuous evaluation of supply, outsourcing strategies, product strategies and the positioning of inventory across the drug substance network.Support the Global Product Strategy process – and supporting sub-teams – to ensure product life cycle is supported, with supply/inventory plans aligned to defined strategies and support product level S&OP reviewsActively participate and support New Product introduction to ensure that supply network plans are optimally created and that supply plans are executed in support of the established timelinesDevelop strong relationships inside and outside the organization including Business Insights & Analytics, site supply chain leads, supply chain product leads, Strategic Product Lead, Business & strategy Operations and support groups worldwide, Finance.Jointly with External manufacturing Group, actively support the Supplier Relationship Programs by providing collaborative rolling long term production requirements.Define and implement an integrated supply strategy for the global manufacturing network, including CMOsIn conjunction with the rest of the GSC functional teams and GPS partners, ensure policies and procedures are in place which meet compliance requirementsDemonstrate cultural sensitivity and understanding of the global practices where business is conducted Qualifications & Experience:

B.S.

or BA in supply chain management, science and/or engineering (biotechnology, engineering or related sciences).

M.B.A or advanced degree, diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management (e.G., APICS or CSCP certification) preferredRequired:

8+ years experience for a reputable, global or multi-plant Pharmaceutical or Consumer Product company utilizing world class supply chain planning and execution processesPreferred:

Experience with site capacity planning and knowledge of pharmaceutical Sales & Operations Planning Processes.Preferred:

Experience with ERP and Advanced Planning Systems (preferably Kinaxis RapidResponse).Preferred:

Experience with data modeling and scenario analysis with the ability to distill significant data to key outcomes for stakeholdersPreferred:

Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirementsExperience in developing and implementing world class, global supply chain planning processesExposure and experience in Pharmaceutical/Bio-Technology manufacturing process, principles, and practicesExperience in working internationally in a fast paced, reputed, global pharmaceutical/Biotechnology or Consumer company organized in a matrix structure Personal Competencies Desired/Required:
