Mission Business Monitoring ensures the effective functioning of operational processes within Wealth Management at Group level, as well as safeguarding the first line of defense control framework.
Challenges Following up on Bank’s Committees’ decisions, staff adherence to internal directives, optimization of processes, drafting and updating of directives, conducting special remedial projects and establishing and implementing effective reporting.
Main responsibilities KRI / ControlsPerform First Line of Defense Controls as per the Business Monitoring’s MFCs in particular the outflow control as well as EAM controls.Escalate issues identified during controlsMonitor and follow up on WM’s Banking KRIs by relying on control functions (Risk, Compliance and Legal) and extractions from the system Action plans / ProcessesMonitor ad hoc action plans linked to operational risksFollow up with the FO on pending issues related to specific (regulatory) action plansCreate informative communications on various risk/regulatory/remediation topics for the FOSupport the FO regarding communications sent, issues to be remediated and any other subject that might arisePresent ideas/proposals for improvements in existing procedures, directives, reporting and processes ReportingCreate and update reports on the status of remediations, controls findings, and other specific action plans for the Bank’s Committees and WM Senior Management Education Education:
