This group function is critical to reducing our environmental impact, complying with evolving requirements, and ensuring a sustainable supplychain organization for the future.
Tasks Drive the design, implementation and further development of all processes for sustainability integration into daily businessPerform research and analysis of suppliers, to understand their environmental impact, and best practice that is being developedIdentify and assess potential sustainability risks within the supplychain and develop strategies to mitigate themWork with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve their performance in sustainability related topicsProvide guidance and training to all internal stakeholders on SupplyChainsustainability topics Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in supplychain managementExperience in managing sustainability related tasks/projectsAbility to understand, synthesise and implement improvements in the environmental impact of our procurement activities with focus on GHG, Scope 3Knowledge of industry regulations and best practicesStrong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teamsProven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and business partners (German & English level CAE) Preferred qualifications Ability to work in a matrix organizationExcellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the companyAdvances business training (NDS, CAS, MAS, MBA or EMBA) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Benefits Career and personal development, Cross-cultural working environment, Employer-funded pension plan, Canteen, Parking area, Employee benefits and discounts, Profit-sharing, Seniority bonus Application Documents Cover letter, Resume, Transcripts, Letters of recommendation, Certifications Who we are Bühler as an employer We are working to create sustainable innovations for a better world.
