A Compliance consolidatedsupervision role typically involves overseeing and ensuring that the organization adheres to Group and local regulatory and compliance requirements.In this role, you will be responsible for the Compliance coverage for the rep offices of the Swiss bank (LATAM, South Africa, Israel), the Wealth Planning business, the Bahamas platform and the non-deposited business.Key responsibilities and duties are:
Developing, implementing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements.Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements across the organization and providing guidance and support to business units under coverage.Conducting compliance risk assessments and identifying areas of risk for the organization and ensure appropriate handling and escalation.Conducting investigations as necessary to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies in coordination with other compliance areas.Coordinating with external regulatory bodies and responding to inquiries and requests for information.Ensuring that the organization's compliance program is effective and efficient, and making recommendations for improvement as needed.Providing training and education to employees on compliance requirements and best practices.Collaborating with other departments in compliance, and including legal and risk management, to ensure a comprehensive compliance program.Participating and providing expertise in all projects, client onboarding and reviews related to the area of responsibility in coordination with onboarding teamAdvising and providing support to the business covered on different compliance matters acting as entry point of referenceMonitoring regulatory developments and coordinating with the relevant teams to assess the impact and ensure necessary actions are carried out to meet the regulatory requirements and continuously updating corresponding policies and proceduresDeveloping and managing a regular monitoring and reporting including key risk indicators and management information – compiling of data and producing monthly / quarterly reports and other ad - hoc reports as required for senior management and the respective management, boards and audit committeesStrong and effective leadership to grow the organization, attract and develop talents to build a strong capability for the group.YOUR PROFILE:
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.Minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant Private Banking experience of compliance activities, regulation and internal policy and risk frameworksExcellent understanding of risk analysis processes, analytical mind, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAbility to summarize complex topics, to drive practical outcomes and to make sound decisions or proposals, including escalation when appropriateStrong leadership, presentation and influencing skills.
In particular,a proven ability to foster productive relationships with Front Office staff and Senior ManagementResult oriented, outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
