Your contribution:
You will be responsible for and support the IT license management of CGM in an advisory capacity .
You enable CGM to use the deployed software in a license compliant manner, paying attention to savings and optimization potentials as well as to the requirements and needs of CGM's subsidiaries.
You are our contact person inside and outside the organization for license topics as well as for internal and external license audits.
You provide significant support in the development and subsequently maintain the software asset management tool for the management of licenses and their use and evaluate them.
You create transparency in the lifecycle management of licenses in terms of IT service management.
You work on everyday tasks in the licensing area such as software order management via ticketing, the management of the own software store and the subsequent invoice verification.
What you bring to the table:
You have successfully completed a degree in business information systems, computer science, business administration, law, a comparable course of study or comparable training and have already gained several years of professional experience in license management.
You have a sound understanding in the field of software licensing (eg Microsoft, VMware, Citrix) and the processing of Audist paired with good contractual knowledge in the field of license agreements.
Basic technical knowledge in the field of IT infrastructures, for example Microsoft 365 and VMware hosting.
Ideally, you have very good knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) systems (e.g.
Matrix42) as well as a confident handling of common MS Office applications.
You love to familiarize yourself with new topics, design and implement changes.
You are characterized by a structured, reliable and independent way of working and convince with solution-oriented thinking and diligence.
For communication with your international colleagues you bring very good German and English skills.
