Summary The SeniorDirector,DigitalCapabilityManager, SAP SupplyChain owns the SupplyChain functions of the SAP platform.
This role manages a large team of both internal (7) and external (50 - 60) resources to drive the enablement, effectiveness and efficiency of the business functions through the design and operation of the SAP platform and other applications making up the Enterprise Resource Planning platform for BMS.
Specifically, this role is accountable for the SupplyChain business processes including Product Costing, Manufacturing, Quality Management and Warehouse Management .The role owns the design of the platform and related applications in the sites and collaborate closely with other functional peers (Planning, Order To Cash, and Finance) as well as Architecture, both the SAP Platform architect, the Enterprise Architects, and the Data Architects to ensure a consistent, compliant, and holistic design and functioning of the system.
The role is accountable to support the business and manage the budget around discretionary and non-discretionary change to the platform in the specific business area.
The role sets all direction for the team and also guides, oversees and approves all work by the partner resources associated to the specific business area.
Key Responsibilities Own and maintain the design of the SAP platform in the specific business areas to enable the business and provide supportability, scalability, maintainability, and compliance.
Oversee and approve all work form internal and external partners and contractors.
Develop internal workforce with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion Collaborate with peers on the Enterprise ERP team to own the IT operations of the SAP ERP systems and related applications.
Including developing the internal processes for all team members to follow to do support or development work, to ensure compliance to all internal and external requirements, to ensure the security of the platform, to ensure a holistic design across business process areas.
Respond to any audit or inspection requests Drive innovation developed by third parties into the platform for business benefit of BMS Develop and maintain relationships with Global Process Owners and other leaders and act as a trusted advisor to those leaders Provide oversight and approval for all estimates provided to ITBP for investment projects Provide oversight and approval for all estimates for enhancement changes Review and approve all partner time in PGOV process / system Review and work with Global Procurement on negotiating SOW’s as needed Develop and give presentations to mid level and senior leaders as required Qualifications & Experience 15+ years of Experience working on SAP systems Experience managing a team Experience managing in a matrix environment Experience overseeing partner resources Deep knowledge of the SupplyChain in a regulated pharmaceutical environment and of Product Costing, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management and Quality Management functionality within SAP S4 and surrounding applications Understanding of Software Procurement Understanding of Software licensing and compliance obligations Demonstration of on time quality delivery with proper budget management of large projects as well as the ability to ensure successful delivery through their resources of multiple projects of various sizes at one time Knowledge of GxP regulations If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
