The Senior Director of Strategic Capabilities is responsible for the strategic planning of Process and Digital Excellence initiatives (P&DE) and developing the tools and systems necessary to support the development of the broader strategic planning skills organizations.

This position reports directly to the Vice President, Process and Digital Excellence and works closely with other senior executives to ensure alignment of strategic process and digital objectives with overall company goals.

The Senior Director of Strategic Capabilities oversees the planning and implementation of key PDE initiatives and ensures that the supply chain is optimized to meet the needs of the business and our patients.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the P&DE strategic plan for the pharmaceutical supply chain to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.

Designing and implementing learning and development programs, and change management programs in partnership with compliance, including e-learning modules, in-person training sessions, and ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Provide strategic planning support to drive digital innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and technology adoption.

Build and lead a high-performing team of supply chain professionals, setting clear goals and expectations, providing coaching and mentoring, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and commercial, to drive operational excellence and optimize supply chain performance.

Developing and implementing strategies for optimizing supply chain operations and improving overall efficiency.

Develop and maintaining a strategic planning process, as well as the necessary system, templates and tools.

Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks to ensure uninterrupted product supply and continuity of operations.

Staying up-to-date on digital trends and technologies in the pharmaceutical industry, and ensuring that digital literacy programs reflect these trends.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT, marketing, and operations, to ensure that GSC programs align with the broader business strategy.

Qualifications:

To be successful, a good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and supply chain management principles is also essential.

Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and manage complex projects is critical to success in this role.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.

MBA preferred.

Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Black Belt or equivalent required.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategic initiatives; and leading cross functional teams..
