Position overview Key Responsibilities and Major DutiesLead policy development and implementation in collaboration with industry associations, stakeholders, and governments.Create local policy strategies and proposals working with cross-functional teams, government agencies and associations (industry, medical and patients) to support the achievement of Bristol-MyersSquibb SA's short - and long-term goals.Continuously monitor the pharma policy environment and identify challenges and opportunities for BristolMyersSquibb SA.Development of impact analyses and a stakeholder power map, as well as development and implementation of action plans based on these in cooperation with industry associations in various working groups.Lead a team to implement key objectives of the company's GovernmentAffairs & Policy strategy.Develop and execute several governmentaffairs initiatives in order to go public (incl.
development of communication tools such as infographics, reports, fact sheets, talking points, briefings, websites etc.)Work closely with BMS global GA&P to stay ahead of policy changes, which can have an impact for Switzerland.
Skills / Knowledge Required:
Degree in legal sciences, political sciences, economics (MBA) and / or natural sciences.Senior management or board-level experience in the pharmaceutical industry.Solid education and experience in political science, law, economics, international affairs or similar.Preferred 5-7 years of governmentaffairs/policy or public affairs consultancy related experience, ideally in or for the pharmaceutical industry.Ideally direct work experience in the government or parliament, and/or in local trade association and/or in an agency responsible for pharmaceutical clients and/or in a similar position in a pharmaceutical company.Existing political network and ideally knowledgeable in Market Access, Pricing and Reimbursement.Very good knowledge of Swiss health care and policy system.Broad understanding of the political landscape in Switzerland.Strong communications skills in local languages (German, French and/or Italian) as well as in English.Good computer skills in a variety of applications e.G.
Microsoft office.
